Position: Drafter (CAD & Revit Drafter)

Location: Waukegan, IL 60087 onsite daily

Hire Type: 12-36 months, long term

MUST HAVE Industrial Manufacturing - build out experience.

I am looking for a hands-on Industrial Manufacturing - Drafter to produce accurate AutoCAD and Revit drawings supporting manufacturing facility layout updates and expansions within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is focused on detailed drafting and model development; architectural licensure is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings for industrial and manufacturing facilities, including layouts, floor plans, and supporting documentation
• Develop and maintain Revit models using current features and best practices, including smart blocks and parametric elements
• Translate redlines, markups, and design concepts into clear, accurate construction and planning drawings
• Support space planning and layout updates for manufacturing, warehouse, and support areas
• Coordinate with engineering, facilities, and project teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and site standards
• Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and documentation in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations

Qualifications:

• 2–7 years of hands-on drafting or design experience in industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similar environments
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with up-to-date knowledge of current tools and capabilities
• Experience producing detailed, build-ready drawings; strong attention to detail is essential
• Familiarity with industrial facilities, manufacturing layouts, or regulated environments preferred
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
